ISA Germany Open Tree Climbing Championship!
We are just one week away from the ISA Germany Open Tree Climbing Championship, and we are thrilled to invite everyone to join us at the lovely castle park of Bückeburg! This international event has attracted participants from over ten countries, making it an international competition.
Important Information for Participants and Volunteers
- Safety First: We take safety seriously. Competitors should familiarize themselves with the safety advisories and rules available on the ISA website. Please also review the list of approved mechanical devices and the official ISA competition rules, which can be downloaded from the ISA site.
- Preparation is Key: Score sheets and explanations are available online for those preparing to compete. Rest assured, we will also provide sufficient score sheets at the competition.
- Gear Check: A smooth gear check is crucial for a timely start. A video explaining the gear-check process is available on YouTube. Please fill out the gear-check form before your arrival to expedite the process.
Schedule of Events
- Thursday: Arrival by 13:00. Tree presentations begin at 13:30, followed by gear check and registration. The day concludes with the annual general meeting of ISA Germany e.V. at 19:00.
- Friday: The main competition kicks off at 08:00.
- Saturday: Masters‘ events start at 08:30, followed by a visual tree inspection competition at 13:00. The award ceremony will be held at 19:00.
- Sunday: Day for tidying up and cleaning the site.

Volunteer and Spectate
Although the maximum number of climbers has been reached, last-minute openings often occur. Spectators and volunteers are highly encouraged to join; your support helps make this event successful, safe, and smooth.
